For long-distance moves within Virginia (intrastate moves 31 miles or more), our pricing is determined by the weight of your shipment and the distance between your old and new zip codes, as per regulations and our filed tariff. We provide a guaranteed, detailed estimate after an in-home or virtual survey to ensure cost transparency.

We offer two primary coverage options, known as valuation:

Released Value Protection: Minimal coverage (60 cents per pound per article), offered at no additional charge.

Full Value Protection (FVP): Comprehensive coverage where we are liable for the full replacement cost of lost or damaged items, subject to the chosen deductible. We can provide detailed FVP options upon request.

Yes. In compliance with Virginia state requirements, we maintain public liability and cargo insurance. We also carry Workers’ Compensation insurance for our crew. Our employees undergo rigorous training, verified employment histories, and background checks to ensure professional, trustworthy service.

We recommend using high-quality, professional packing materials, which we can supply. While we take great care, our liability for items in customer-packed boxes (PBO) is typically limited to the exterior condition of the box unless Full Value Protection is purchased. We encourage using our professional packing services for fragile or high-value items.

Yes. We offer secure Storage-in-Transit (SIT) services at our local, climate-controlled warehouse facilities in Virginia. This is an excellent solution for moves involving temporary housing or construction delays. Your items are inventoried and placed in protected vaults until you are ready for final redelivery.
