Important Claim Information

Photos must be included with claim submission. Include close-up photos of damage and photos of full item. Any applicable information, such as purchase receipts, proof of value, owner’s manuals, appraisals, repairmain’s estimates, etc. can be attached to expedite settlement.

DO NOT CONTRACT, PAY FOR OR OTHERWISE OBLIGATE MG MOVING SERVICES. FOR REPAIRS OR REPLACEMENTS WITHOUT PRIOR WRITTEN APPROVAL. MG MOVING SERVICES IS NOT LIABLE FOR ANY OBLIGATIONS WHICH ARE INCURRED BY YOU.

Submission of a claim is not a guarantee of claim acceptance or approval of a settlement.
No claim settlement can be made until all work orders have been paid.
Insurance company may wish to inspect damages. Damage that cannot be verified may not be covered.
If Full Value Protection was purchased, MG Moving Services is liable for no more than the actual cash value of damaged goods in your shipment, including larger furniture and carrier-packed boxes, minus the selected deductible.
Structural damages are subject to a $150 deductible.
Please see the Terms and Conditions for your specific move type for applicable timeframes to file a claim.

Because our standard valuation coverage is based on weight, please be sure to include the weight of each claimed item. Additional information, such as manufacturer, purchase date, and receipts, can all be helpful and will expedite the claim review process.

Please allow 30-60 days for claims to be processed.
